A team of men from the United States Central Territory came together to help rebuild lives in Jacmel - a town to the South of Port-au-Prince that was affected by the 2010 earthquake. These men helped to transform three transitional shelters into temporary-to-permanent shelters. This included replacing tarp sides with plywood, replacing wood flooring with a cement slab and framing and installing windows and doors. They didn't stop there. They also renovated the corps building in a similar fashion; adding plywood sides, a wooden cross behind the podium, electricity, fans, windows and new flooring. We are thankful for all of their hard work!
