Dr. Jurgen Thiesbonenkamp, Chair of the Kindernothilfe (KNH) Board of Directors, visited College Verena at Delmas 2 prior to the start of construction for the new school. At the end of his visit, the construction contract was signed between KNH who is funding the construction, Habiterra who will build the schools and The Salvation Army. KNH will celebrate 30 years of partnership with The Salvation Army Haiti in April 2011.
