Salvation Army sponsors, HRD staff and an independent evaluator traveled to 12 Salvation Army schools in the south of Haiti over the course of two weeks. They took time to speak with children and teachers, host a seminar to equip administrators and directors with tools to improve schools, and provide recommendations for moving forward. Many of these schools are in remote villages and often, children and teachers have to travel quite a distance by foot to get to work and school each day.
